Staged Construction

ELS^® allows engineers to analyze a structure as it is built, from the bottom up through its staged construction.

An engineer can construct an entire model, set the construction order of individual elements, and impose loads from construction equipment or other sources. Taking into account cracking and non-linear geometry changes in all analyses, ELS generates a clearer picture of what is actually occurring. Allowing engineers to graphically see how the response of the structure changes as it grows, helps to avoid accidents or structural damage due to improper construction methodology.
